Autumn Subseasons: Are You Soft, Warm or Dark Autumn?
Acquaintance with seasonal types #1 AUTUMN: SOFT, WARM and DARK 🍁
From previous posts, we know that harmonious colors beautify/enhance the look. Great - you will say - how do I know which ones are harmonious for me?! And the question is logical! Harmonious/inharmonious colors are determined by your seasonal color type. There are 12 of them in total. We ALL "fall" into 1 out of 12. Once we figure out which one, we can know exactly what colors to wear and what colors to avoid in order to bring out our natural beauty and appearance. The main tool in this case is physical small PALETTES, You might get them here. Like the seasons, there are 12 different ones and each one perfectly matches the "parameters" of each season. It is simple-You take it with you when you go shopping and from now on you know exactly what should go in the closet and what should not...
So what are those seasons? Since the wonderful October is outside the window, we will start our acquaintance with AUTUMN. Autumn is a time of harvest and shorter, hazy days, enveloping the natural world in warm, rich colors. Autumnal features are warm, muted and quite dark, giving Autumn and the 3 Autumnal types a soft, richer look, but all have their differences. AUTUMN season is divided into three sub-seasons: Soft Autumn, Warm Autumn and Dark Autumn.
Characteristics:
SOFT AUTUMN The main feature of color here is softness. This season flows into autumn from summer, which tones the skin, hair and eyes in a neutral-warm tone. The features have a soft gray color in them, which softens the people of Soft Autumn. Soft Autumn is the least bright of the already rather dim AUTUMN family. This season does not tolerate brightness or very, very dark colors at all. Therefore, the color palette is extremely soft and delicate. It has many shades of nut, rose and wheat.
WARM AUTUMN This autumn is a combination of warm and mild, but warmth is the main feature here. The features of Warm Autumn people are characterized by rich colors and can appear quite bright due to their warmth, but don't be fooled, the colors are still muted. This season has the warmest looks from the Autumn family. Like autumn nature, the Warm Autumn color palette consists of rich, earthy colors that look very "saturated" due to their warmth. 🙂
Dark Autumn Dark Autumn is a combination of dark and warm. This season gradually transitions from autumn to winter, coloring the skin, hair and eyes in a neutral-warm and darkening everything. Also, the nearby winter influences a greater contrast in the facial features and greater brightness compared to the other two autumn seasons. This type (season) is the darkest of the 3 autumns. The colors of the palette here become deeper and a little brighter, reminiscent of the spices of distant lands.
In the next post - WINTER and its 3 cold sub-seasons. Keep Following!
